Student Staying Safe Team

Student Staying Safe Team

Dormston School is proud to announce its newly established Student Staying Safe Team.  This team meets regularly to raise the awareness of current safeguarding issues in a child friendly manner through assemblies and the ‘Keeping Yourself Safe’ notice board.  A child friendly policy is currently being created to ensure safeguarding issues are presented in a concise, simplistic manner.

Education Against Hate

An “educate against hate” website was launched by Nicky Morgan, whilst she was England’s Education Secretary, as part of a renewed drive against extremism. At Dormston School we are committed to safeguard and protect students from potential risk and have added the link to this website which parents may find useful or interesting.

If you are worried about the safety or well-being of any child, please report this as soon as possible to either the child’s Head of House or one of our Designated Safeguarding Leads, Mrs J Elliott, Mr N Amos or Ms L Smith.
