Exam Results 2018

The class of 2018 brought with them some special challenges. The first cohort to study mostly the new 9-1 GCSE’s meant that both staff and pupils were even more anxious than usual on results day.  The new headline measure of Progress 8 judges how much progress pupils of the same ability across the country have made and although we will need to wait for the full national picture to be released from the department for education, early indications are positive. We fully expect results to be better again, for the 5th consecutive year, and we are looking forward to seeing our score when the data is released.
