Business Studies

Business Studies is a popular option at KS4.

This qualification equips students with the skills and confidence to explore how different business situations affect business decisions. It is a well rounded introduction to the subject. The qualification will encourage students to make informed choices about a wide range of further learning opportunities and career pathways, as well as develop life skills that enable them to become financially and commercially aware.

This course is ideal for students who may like to start their own business, are intrigued about how businesses operate and enjoy researching how and why businesses start; where some succeed and others fail.  In lessons students will benefit from team working, problems solving, decision making, presenting ideas and showing a flair for being business minded.
